Triple R Horse Rescue is 100% volunteer run. We need help from the community to keep our horses happy and healthy until they find their forever homes. We invite individuals, families, schools and civic organizations to join us as we make a difference in these amazing animals lives. Triple R always needs help with daily chores (feeding, mucking, grooming), fundraising, administrative work and special events and projects.
All volunteers are required to attend Volunteer Orientation prior to volunteering. Orientation is led by our outstanding volunteer support team! Youths under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one of their parents/legal guardians. Once through orientation, youths ages 12-17 may volunteer without a parent in the pen but one still has to be onsite. Children under 12 may volunteer if a parent/guardian volunteers by their side and provides supervision at all times.
Topics Covered During Volunteer Orientation:
Volunteer Orientation is typically held once a month (on a Saturday). Once you submit your Volunteer Application you will receive an email with more information, including upcoming Orientation dates/time. Winter and Summer times may vary depending on Sunrise. You will also need to review the volunteer orientation guide below.
Please remember: When coming to the ranch wear closed toe shoes (NO sandals) and bring a pair of gloves.
Volunteering at Triple R Horse Rescue is a wonderful family experience. Make it a Family Event!!
